Job Purpose
The Site Reliability Engineer is responsible to handle all kind of incidents (security or non-security in his/her domains to recover services as fast as possible & comply to processes; proactively identify potential risks/weaknesses and implement enhancements to ensure consistent performance and reliability of services.
Key Accountabilities (1)
• Co-operate with Dev & Ops & Security functions to study & deep understand Apps/Infras/Security.
• Daily onsite (by 24/7 shift) to monitor & response (L1/L2) to all kind of security or non-security events/incidents as quickly as possible (real-time) based on defined runbooks & tools.
• Define and develop scenario, run books and automation pipelines to handle security or non-security issues & incidents.
• Periodically review and assess applications/infras/security to identify potential risks/weaknesses and implement remediation plans to improve resilience of services.
• Proactively identify & build/optimize monitoring matrixes for security or non-security.
• Orient, analyze and evaluate new technology trends in order to apply to increase resilience level of services.
• Ensure that the unit\'s activities comply with internal policies, regulations, processes, guidelines... and service quality commitments (SLAs).
