Defect Correction
- Ensure effective resolution of equipment break down issues by allocating appropriate corrective workloads to maintenance teams and providing support in obtaining the knowledge and materials required for the corrective efforts.
- Ensure effective continuity of work between teams.
- Engage and control external support services to supplement internal maintenance capability as necessary.
- Troubleshoot plant operational defects and provide technical direction to maintainers to resolve complex problems.
Preventative Maintenance
- Ensure the effective execution of the site Preventative Maintenance programme by planning and coordinating the routine PM workload and major shutdown periods.
- Minimise the impact of PM work on operating plant by effective coordination and control.
- Ensure the completion of statutory and externally contracted specialist maintenance programmes through planning and coordination.
- Identify underperforming or inappropriate PM tasks and arrange for their revision
