ABOUT THE POSITION
The Head of Alumni, Industry & Development will report to Vice Provost of Academic Affairs, and will focus on promoting and developing positive relationships between VinUniversity and local and international industry, organization partners and students alumni to provide a wide variety of opportunities including internships, professional development, and graduate employment for VinUni as well as industry attachment for VinUni faculty members.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Plan strategically and implement industry and organization engagement activities, career services support for VinUni students and alumni, alumni engagement and fundraising activities
• Develop annual strategic plan and action plan for the Department, in line with the wider University strategic plan and action plan
• Establish, develop, and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with leading domestic and international employers to create internships, professional development, and career opportunities for VinUni students and alumni.
• Engage industry partners closely by working with these stakeholders to:
• Advocate, facilitate and provide opportunities for internships for VinUni students
• Involve VinUni students in business case projects and competitions regarding enterprises ‘solutions for actual business challenges.
