PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF ROLE
This is a dual-role position. The purpose of the Tax Accountant role researches, analyses and interprets tax legislation (local and international); prepares and submits compliance returns and tax forms; input into the account software; and maintain files for all accounts taxes records.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Tax Accountancy
• Develop and maintain the relationship with the tax office. working with tax office when there is an inspection.
• Ensure accuracy / legality of VAT invoices and tax related documentation.
• Maintain export / import tax records
• Assist Chief Accountant to monitor the budget, budget backlog and company VAT reimbursement
• Raise relevant taxation documentation for new investments / projects
• Assist the Chief Accountant to provide guidance to senior management on tax related matters
• Prepare and submit regulated tax documentation to the tax department
• Issue and send VAT invoice to tenant company
• Data input (VAT in-out) to accounting software.
• Make payment request for tax (if have)
