Purpose of the Role:
This role is responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the Color Lab, working independently with minimal supervision. This role involves direct supervision of Colorists and Color Lab Technicians, supporting business operations and interacting with managerial peers. Key responsibilities include prioritizing Color Lab work assignments to support customer service, manufacturing, sales, and technical operations, as well as resolving complex problems with minimal assistance.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise Color Lab Employees: Conduct performance reviews for direct reports and provide regular feedback on both formal and informal bases. Identify and prioritize personnel development needs, conduct disciplinary discussions, review staff assignments, develop and communicate work schedules, and assign staff as needed.
• Color Match Process Management: Assume ownership of the color match process from request receipt through completion (excluding the actual lab color match). Create work requests for submission to the Solution Center for specified color matches. Ensure all necessary paperwork and standards are available for comparison against samples.
• Data Integrity and Standards Management: Manage product standards\' data integrity at the lab and plan levels. Coordinate standards and absolute readings, ensuring communication to all necessary parties to prevent business or production delays.
