* Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Manual QA Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing web applications to ensure they meet high-quality standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities in English.
* Key Responsibilities:
Perform manual testing of web applications to identify bugs, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
Develop, document, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
Report and track defects, ensuring their resolution in collaboration with the development team.
Conduct functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing.
Review and analyze system requirements to create detailed test cases.
Ensure that web applications meet business and technical requirements.
Provide clear and concise documentation of test results and defect reports.
Work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure a high-quality user experience.
Suggest improvements to enhance the usability and functionality of the applications.
Experience:1-3 years of experience in manual testing of web applications.
Technical Skills:Knowledge of software testing methodologies, processes, and tools.
Attention to Detail:Ability to identify and document software defects accurately.
Analytical Thinking:Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Communication Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Collaboration:Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Familiarity with Tools:Experience using bug-tracking tools like Jira, TestRail, or similar.
Basic Understanding of Web Technologies:Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and browser developer tools is a plus.
Adaptability:Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements.
*Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Exposure to API testing and database validation (SQL knowledge is a plus).
Understanding of cross-browser and responsive testing.
