JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Purchasing Executive is responsible for strategic procurement activities, including sourcing suppliers locally and overseas, negotiating pricing, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. This role involves analyzing market trends, managing supplier relationships, and overseeing the entire procurement process to support the company’s objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible to source for suppliers both in local and overseas. Coordinate with suppliers on sourcing materials, price negotiation & comparison and delivery status.
• Analyze market trends and conditions to forecast material pricing and availability.
• Responsible on purchasing requisitions, quotation enquiries, issuance of purchase order and invoicing.
• To coordinate with all related departments in order to achieve the plan target and schedule delivery. Collaborate cross-functionally to align procurement activities with business goals.
• Identify and develop relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions to ensure quality and cost-efficiency.
• Oversee the entire procurement process from sourcing, order placement to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
• Must have experience dealing with freight forwarder and have import and export experience. Cross check every detail of Custom declaration sheet, COC, import license and ensure every declaration and process is done correctly to ensure smooth delivery process.
