1. JOB PURPOSE
Assistant Project Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects. He will lead the assigned projects from initiation to close, hiring subcontractors, working with vendors. He is responsible facilitating the project, carrying out the design as well as contract administration and quality control of the contractors’ work, ensuring that the project is completed successfully. Ensuring all required permits and inspections are obtained. He also takes care infrastructure maintenance of factory.
2. CRITICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Capex Project H&S management:
• Ensure the contractor supply enough qualified manpower, tools and perform tasks as required
• Coordinate with HSE personnel to maintain the Project Health and Safety
• Manage Capex Project H&S activities.
• Working with Factory HSE to develop safety control plan for project
• Conduct site inspection regularly to control and assure compliance of contractors on Vilube safety & environment regulation.
• Investigates incidents and preventive actions to minimize recurrence for non –compliance.
