Responsibilities • To read all the documents and understand what needs to be tested. • Set up test scenarios based on functional requirements • Develop test cases and prioritize testing activities. • Execute all the test case and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect. • Carry out regression testing every time when changes are made to the code to fix defects. • Create logs to document testing phases and defects. • Report bugs and errors to development teams. • Help troubleshoot issues. • Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing. • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. • Perform functional testing to ensure compliance with functional requirements. • Work with other departments to guide a smooth User Acceptance Testing process.
Responsibilities
Performance standards outcome • Verify whether the problem is fixed. • Provide daily status reports that monitor the progress of the project and each tester involved. • Monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards. • Review all the requirements, come up with optimized test planning. • Come up with complete test cases and write properly and later to be used for automation. • Conduct all required performance testing when required. • Run regression and smoke testing on every deployment pre/post-production.
