Architect and Scale Backend Systems: Design, develop, and optimize scalable backend systems using microservices architecture to handle high throughput and low-latency requirements Global Expansion: Build, scale, and maintain robust APIs and backend services to support our platform’s global user base and geographic expansion DevOps & Infrastructure: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and monitor systems to ensure 24/7 reliability and high availability Data and Analytics: Build out real-time analytics, monitoring, and logging solutions to gain insights into system performance and user behavior Cloud Management: Utilize AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.) for building, managing, and deploying scalable cloud-based solutions Collaboration & Mentoring: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Frontend, Product, Data Science, etc.) to ensure seamless integration and contribute to the growth and mentorship of junior engineers Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices to protect data, prevent breaches, and comply with international standards as we expand to new regions.

Proven experience designing and developing systems for high-traffic, data-intensive, and geographically distributed network marketplaces Deep proficiency in backend languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, or Go) Extensive experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3, CloudWatch) or other cloud providers (e.g., GCP, Azure) Solid understanding of DevOps practices including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) Experience in setting up monitoring and alerting for large-scale systems (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) SQL and NoSQL databases: Expertise in both relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis Strong understanding of network security, compliance, and scalability best practices Previous experience in high-growth startups or marketplaces like Grab, Shopee, Tiki, or similar is highly desirable Passionate about building robust, innovative solutions with a mindset for continuous learning and improvement
