We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Embedded Tester to join our team for a 3- 6 -month contract. As a Senior Embedded Tester, you will be responsible for testing and validating embedded systems, including hardware, firmware, and software components. You will ensure that the embedded systems are robust, reliable, and function seamlessly across different environments, ensuring high-quality performance and user experience
Senior Embedded Tester
Responsibilities:
Perform functional, and non-functional (KPI driven) system testing on Linux-based embedded systems for the BSP and drivers
Document and reporting with test results, any deviation with detailed logs
screen-shots, issue reproduction methods etc with initial analysis on the observation
Conduct sting for software releases keeping track of quality
Configure and maintain test environments & test specs, including hardware setups, OS configurations, and embedded boards

Experience in testing Embedded Linux platforms, BSP and drivers
Knowledge of Embedded Linux eco-system with knowledge in peripherals and their internal working
Basic knowledge in shell scripting
Addon Skills
Exposure to networking protocols and analysis network-related issues
Proficiency in test automation frameworks like PyTest, Robot Framework or custom scripting
Familiarity with tools like Git, Jenkins, and bug-tracking systems (e.g., JIRA)
ISTQB certification or other relevant certifications
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or a related field
