About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer (Junior) to support our development and operations teams in deploying, monitoring, and managing applications in cloud and on-premises environments.
DevOps Engineer (Junior)
The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in DevOps practices, is comfortable with basic scripting, and is eager to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.
What you’d do:
Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD):
Assist in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployment.
Troubleshoot and optimize build and deployment processes to enhance automation and efficiency.
Infrastructure Management:
Support infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and scaling in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
Help with infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Monitoring and Logging:
Configure and monitor system and application metrics using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
Set up logging and alerting solutions (e.g., ELK Stack, Splunk) to ensure high system availability and fast response to issues.
Scripting and Automation:
Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate routine tasks and support infrastructure management.
Assist with automated deployments, configuration updates, and other workflow automations.
Security and Compliance:
Assist with implementing security best practices, including access control, network security, and compliance requirements.
Monitor system vulnerabilities and apply patches as needed.
Collaboration:
Work closely with software engineers, QA, and other team members to integrate DevOps practices and improve processes.
Participate in code reviews, contribute to documentation, and actively seek feedback to improve skills.

What we need you:

Technical Skills:
Basic understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
Basic understanding
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Comfortable with basic scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
Basic knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus).
Basic knowledge
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Excellent communication skills for collaboration and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic understanding of network security, firewalls, and VPNs.
Exposure to monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
Experience in managing version control using Git.
