POSITION OBJECTIVE
• Buyer is responsible for identifying purchasing needs, researching potential vendors, tracking orders, updating internal databases with order details, conducting market research, evaluating vendor offers, negotiating prices, and maintaining accurate records of invoices and contracts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Time management and organization skills.
• Provide qualitative product information.
RESPONSIBILITIES (Main and detail information)
• Work directly with suppliers throughout the procurement process
• Coordinate with related departments to check the quality of products
• Responsible to work in the area of purchasing and secure purchasing processes, policies
• Product Sourcing/Assortment Development:
o Existing Suppliers - New SKUs
o New Suppliers/New SKUs
o Customer Inquiry/Feedback/Suggested
o In Demand/Market Trend/New Features
o Other Platforms (i.e. Online Shopping, etc.)
