Business development:
1) Responsible for category sourcing activity, including searching new product and new supplier, quality and price comparison, sample comparison, price negotiation, factory evaluation etc.
2) Responsible for project execution with milestone control and good time management
3) Work closely with the cross-functional teams to ensure on-time shipment.
4) Document management: Projects document filing and checking.
Customer and supplier management:
1) Communicate with overseas counterparts and business representatives to clarify inquiries and specifications;
2) Supplier management including supplier search, screen and identify potential supplier. Monitor suppliers’ performance
3) Arrange and implement buying trip independently, including contact with supplier or vendor to arrange schedule, coordinate with supplier and buyer, accompany buying trip, prepare trip report etc.
4) Supplier negotiation: price review and control, claim settlement etc.
5) Maintain strong business relationships with vendors for product development and production.
