Job Summary
In this role, The Assistant Manager - Procurement will support in sourcing, purchasing, and managing supplies and services. This role ensures cost efficiency, supplier quality, and timely delivery of materials while maintaining strong supplier relationships and compliance with organizational policies.
Main Responsibilities
1. Procurement Strategy
o Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
o Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and analyze market trends.
2. Supplier Management
o Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
o Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve optimal value for the organization.
o Evaluate supplier performance regularly and resolve disputes or issues as needed.
3. Purchasing Operations
o Manage day-to-day procurement activities, including issuing purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
o Monitor inventory levels to avoid overstocking or shortages.
