We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Project Engineer to join our client - an injection molding company. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with mold makers to ensure the highest mold quality and on time delivery for the company in-house production. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and efficiency of our injection molding processes.
Key responsibilities include:
• Oversee activities during the quotation phase, ensuring timely and accurate project proposals.
• Collaborate in the creation of new product proposals and establish project schedules to align with business objectives.
• Engage in discussions and reviews of new project specifications to ensure they meet company capabilities and customer expectations.
• Conduct DFM reviews with suppliers and actively participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
• Provide engineering support for program localization, including sourcing subcomponents and engaging local suppliers, while offering guidance to the engineering team.
• Collect and prioritize product and customer requirements, define the product vision, and collaborate closely with quality, sales, and purchasing teams to achieve customer satisfaction goals.
