We're hiring! We are looking for an Associate Director, Contracts to join our regional contracts team, based in Ho Chi Minh City!
This role reports to the Chief Contracts Negotiator who leads the Regional Contracts Team. This is an exciting business and law hybrid role and ideal for a lawyer with litigation or in-house experience with a strong business and risk management focus.
The successful candidate will be expected to review and negotiate commercial terms and conditions in Aon’s contracts with its clients. They must also be able to demonstrate an understanding of the risks associated with accepting (or rejecting) such terms and take a practical problem-solving approach to resolve any issues that arise. They will also be involved in risk management initiatives for the firm.
The incumbent will be responsible for the following for our businesses in Vietnam:
• Reviewing and negotiating contracts, local and cross border engagements, tenders, and RFPs, particularly on commercial terms and conditions.
• Liaising with the Regional Contracts Team, internal and external partners for fact-finding and negotiation purposes.
• Advice on contractual issues and emerging trends and changes in regulatory landscape that would impact our contracts with clients.
• Support on global initiatives and projects and related risk mitigation measures, contract audits, contracts deployment, implementing changes in contract deployment process
