JOB PURPOSE
This position is part of the logistics team that handles Vietnam, Cambodia, and Singapore to manage general trade compliance missions in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Singapore sites that follow ADM standards and execute export and import operations activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
General Trade Compliance :
• Serve as the main contact for global trade compliance within Vietnam, Cambodia, and Singapore and support global trade compliance mission.
• Advise senior management on the impact of changes to trade compliance laws and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with federal and foreign regulations governing the shipment, receipt, and documentation of imported/exported products to and from domestic and international facilities.
• Conduct internal trade compliance training for employees and drive process improvement.
• Audit import/export processes as required, report results and implement corrective actions.
• Research and resolve trade compliance issues with third parties, including customs brokers, suppliers, and customers.
• Develop proactive strategic solutions to support business operations.
• Act as regional lead liaison with foreign agencies, providing requested information or responses.
• Determine proper HS code classification, MSDS, CO, L/C...
