Purpose of this position:
The Senior Legal Officer will support the Senior Legal Manager in handling all legal matters related to the Company and its subsidiaries within the Group from a Vietnamese legal perspective, as directed from time to time.
Under the Senior Legal Manager’s instructions, the Senior Legal Officer will be responsible for providing legal advice on the Company’s business and operations, reviewing and revising transaction documents, and delivering legal updates on laws and regulations relevant to the Company’s activities (e.g., ERC, IRC, permits, licenses, EPC contracts, PPA, O&M Agreement, Connection Agreements, Loan Agreement, SPA, SHA and other commercial agreements). Additionally, the Senior Legal Officer will coordinate with relevant departments within the Company, the Group, and external parties to ensure the smooth operation of the Company and its subsidiaries, including the establishment of special purpose vehicles, mergers and acquisitions, project/corporate financing, and project development, all in compliance with Vietnamese law.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide general counsel and advice on Vietnamese legal matters.
• Draft, review, advise on, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to the Company’s and Group’s business development and operations.
• Ensure all permits, licenses, and approvals necessary for the Company’s and Group’s daily operations and new projects are procured.
