POSITION PURPOSE
The Senior Communications Officer will play a crucial role in developing and implementing comprehensive communications strategies for British University Vietnam (BUV). This position is responsible for managing both external and internal communications, ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms, and maintaining the university's reputation as Vietnam's premier British education institution. The role will lead communications initiatives that support BUV's strategic objectives, enhance stakeholder engagement, and strengthen the university's brand position in the higher education sector.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies aligned with BUV's strategic goals and brand positioning
- Lead the planning, creation, and distribution of high-quality content across multiple channels (digital, print, and social media)
- Collaborate with various departments to gather content and ensure consistent messaging across all university communications
- Manage internal communications to ensure effective information flow within the organization and strengthen staff engagement
- Oversee media relations, including press release development, media pitch preparation, and relationship building with key media contacts
