Our growing Thermal Cooling company is looking to fill the role of manufacturing test engineer for Air Cooling and Liquid Cooling devices.
As a Test Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to validate product performance, identify potential improvements, and ensure compliance with industry standards. If you have a passion for integrating hardware and developing software and enjoy working in a dynamic, innovative environment, this role is perfect for you.
Responsibilities for manufacturing test engineer
• Develop process metrics and reports based on manufacturing data available
• Investigation, design, development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and technology for the introduction of new products
• Provide test and manufacturing experience / opinion within a multi-disciplined project team
• Assist with MSE (Manufacturing Systems Engineering) duties as required
• Special test set ups include such items as flow, pressures, power supply, power measurement, piping, pump and or motor supports, couplings, special instrumentation
• Provide feedback to quality and product engineering on products that do not pass performance on the first test to improve first pass yield
• Create standard work for test set ups, instrumentation, testing, storage of tools and equipment
• Measure and improve first time yield and provide feedback to quality and product engineering on missed tests
