Summary of Position, Responsibility and Authority
Provide IT technical management for The Ocean Resort (TOR) office infrastructure and support to rental pool villas when needed.
Responsibilities
1. Manage and support IT Infrastructure at TOV including servers: SQL server, SMILE PMS, MDaemon email server, Backup, Windows Domain Controller.
2. Managing switches, printers, firewall (Linux)
3. Monitor backups and server issues.
4. Design/Edit Crystal report for making reports on SMILE PMS.
5. Evaluate and selected appropriate anti-virus and intrusion detection software for email and networking to ensure complete and continuous coverage with no security breaches. Security Policy.
6. Ensure that all IT changes are managed so that they minimise downtime and risk of any inconvenience.
7. Recommend and implement hardware and software improvements for greater efficiency
8. Provided training / support tousers
9. Research new technology and apply.
